No Apologies

I cannot apologize 

Not for my idiosyncrasies 

Nor can i reject the animosity 

Of pain that rendered gaze tethered

Truths distorted 

Fixations blurred of what should

Dismantle by actions of a man 

Whom found comfort in his ways

I cannot apologize 

For apologizing reveals regret 

Lies, selfishness, and debt

That could never be repaid 

For injuries made

For souls ripped 

And balanced tipped

I cannot apologize 

For i am no longer he

Your pain

Was never me
